Headturn

I don't really want to spend too much time talking on this one. I had made some inking brushes in Toon Boom to use for drawing Luz's head to keep everything consistent, but unfortunately I was unaware that going back and forth between them reverted any adjustments to them (primarily size) so by the time I moved on to the second frame of her head turn (I was pretty okay with how the first frame of her head in profile turned out) I was unable to replicate the same consistent line quality which increasingly frustrated me over time. My main issue, though, was how committed I was to sticking to several sets of reference images I had from the show. Rather than adjusting proportions and features to each previous frame I was creating entirely new drawings that were mostly independent of each other. I had onion skin on, but I didn't trust myself to create a proper in-between of Luz's head based on my own assumptions. I certainly learned a lot from doing this one, but it was just such a frustrating experience that felt like a complete waste of time by the time I gave up on it.
